Your workplace - an agency that develops and grows

As a Property Engineer with us, you will be part of the Technical Unit West, which covers Såtenäs, Skövde, and Karlsborg. We work on behalf of the administrator using a project-oriented approach to carry out projects and contracts by planning, procuring, executing, and following up on maintenance measures and investment projects within Fortifikationsverket's property portfolio.

The assignments lie within the subject area of ground and civil engineering, but related assignments may also occur.

As a Property Engineer, you will also work with condition assessments, property documentation, and cost analyses within the framework of the administration assignment, as well as participate in the procurement of consultants and contractors. The position is located in Såtenäs.

The work involves travel within the region. Travel outside the region may also occur, which can be planned.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have completed upper secondary education. We want you to have:

• good technical understanding and practical experience within ground and civil engineering, and
• good knowledge of AMA Anläggning (Construction Specifications) and MER.
• experience of working according to management and quality systems as well as good knowledge of BAS-P and BAS-U.

You need to have good computer skills and good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. A Class B driver's license is a requirement, as is Swedish citizenship.

The following is meritorious if you have:

• education in asphalt surfacing
• several years of experience as a project manager in civil engineering contracting
• professional experience with environmental sampling and geotechnical investigations.
• knowledge within contract and business law
• experience of working with asphalt surfacing
• habit of being responsible for project economics

About the employment

The position is a permanent position and may be initiated with a probationary period. As a permanent employee, you will be mobilized for war service. The location is Såtenäs. Employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security class. Security clearance with register check will be conducted before employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
