Do you want to be part of building our new group of Production Managers within energy and industry? We are now looking for you who have experience from infrastructure projects within petrochemicals, the pulp industry, or heavy industry projects for our division Civil West.

The Role of Project Manager

We are looking for you who want to take a key role and be involved from the start as we build a new team. Here you will have the opportunity to lead, develop, and influence – in close collaboration with engaged colleagues.

As a Project Manager, you will be a central force in our team building, but you will also be responsible for driving exciting and challenging infrastructure projects, primarily focused on industry.

As Project Manager, you are responsible for:

• Leading and coordinating subordinate staff and, where applicable, skilled workers.
• Having overall responsibility for the execution of assigned projects.
• Ensuring that projects deliver expected results and cash flow.
• Setting engaging goals and finding efficient production solutions together with the rest of the project organization.
• Participating in early stages and in tendering work.
• Ensuring that the project follows defined time, quality, and cost frameworks, and that work is carried out in accordance with the processes in the business system and documented as required.
• Working for and ensuring a good working environment within the area of responsibility.
• Quality assuring and optimizing the progress of our projects.
• Having personnel responsibility for assigned staff and responsibility for resource planning within production, including external resources.
• Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
• Actively monitoring the market and identifying new business models and project opportunities.

We are looking for you who have

• A Master of Science in Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Engineering, or equivalent degree.
• Several years of experience from infrastructure projects within industry.
• A business-minded and strategic mindset combined with good collaboration skills.
• Extensive experience in business and negotiation.
• Very good knowledge of relevant laws, agreements, and decision-making processes.
• A strong network within both private companies and public actors.

We also believe that you are a secure and engaged leader who enjoys working together with others and leads by example. You also see the value in sharing your knowledge to develop both projects and colleagues.

In the role of Project Manager, you report to the Production Manager and you are part of the leadership group of the Production Managers.

About Civil West

The division Civil SE West operates within infrastructure in Gothenburg, Northern Halland, Älvsborg, and Bohuslän. The work covers the entire chain, from design and construction to production within ground and infrastructure projects. We are approximately 300 employees and are divided into four production areas and one specialist group.

Additional Information

The employment is full-time, and the position is permanent. You will be located in Gothenburg with the possibility of mobility and will work on our projects throughout our entire region. A background check will be conducted in accordance with our safety culture. A valid driver's license (Category B) is required.
