Do you want to lead important societal projects in our municipality and contribute to developing the future Ulricehamn? We are facing several major infrastructure investments and are now looking for you who want to take a central role in the construction of our new wastewater treatment plant.

About the role

Ulricehamn is in a growth phase where new residential areas, schools, and businesses are being created, driving several larger infrastructure investments. Here, Ulricehamns Energi plays a central role, and as a project manager, you will be a key part of driving these projects forward.

In this role, you are responsible for our water and wastewater (VA) projects, from planning to implementation, related to both reinvestments and new investments in process facilities and pipe networks.

The work involves that you:

• lead VA projects through the entire process – from preliminary studies and program work to design, construction, and completion
• are responsible for project quality as well as delivery on time and within budget
• work with economic planning and follow-up
• develop methods and routines for efficient project work
• coordinate projects within VA and contribute expertise to adjacent areas such as energy facilities, electricity distribution, and street/ground works
• have a central role with many contact points and collaborate closely with both internal colleagues and external partners

Here you will contribute to sustainable development, optimize processes, and inspire innovative thinking. You will be involved in improving work processes and tools to drive projects even better. The position is located in Ulricehamn, and you report directly to the Head of Water and Wastewater.

Your profile

We are looking for you who are an engineer or have equivalent education and have several years of experience in project management within, for example, water and wastewater, construction, or infrastructure. You have a basic understanding of contract law and are familiar with regulations such as AB 04 and ABT 06, which gives you confidence in handling contracts and conditions in the various stages of projects. It is also meritorious if you have experience with permitting, financial management, and procurement.

You are secure in a leadership role, can motivate and engage your colleagues, and build good collaborations both internally and externally. You are structured and solution-oriented, enjoy creating stable work processes, and are clear in both speech and writing in Swedish. You also have good knowledge of English and hold a B driver's license.
