Description
At the Urban Environment Administration, approximately 1,000 employees work with overall responsibility for Gothenburg's public spaces and collective accessibility. The administration is responsible for places that Gothenburg residents use and visit every day. Job Responsibilities
Do you want to help coordinate how projects within infrastructure, streets, and buildings are transferred to a well-functioning administration? The Receiving Unit is responsible for ensuring a clear and coordinated process for how projects are received from the project phase to administration, operation, and maintenance. We work to ensure that technical documentation, relationship documents, and other materials meet the right quality standards, so that the transition to administration takes place in an efficient and structured manner. We are currently in an exciting development phase where we are building common working methods and routines. We are now looking for an engaged receiving coordinator who wants to develop the operations with us.
The Role of Receiving Coordinator
As a receiving coordinator with us, you have an important coordinating role where you work closely with the project and administration organization, unit manager, and other relevant operations. You are a central part of the receiving process and ensure that handovers from projects to administration are of high quality. The role involves both operational coordination and development work, where you contribute to creating efficient working methods and processes.
Your main responsibilities:
- Coordinate the receiving of responsibility, facilities, and administration data from projects to administration.
- Coordinate the receiving work together with the projects' handover coordinators and relevant operations.
- Contribute to the work of developing routines and working methods for project handover.
- Ensure that technical documentation, relationship documents, and other materials are complete before handover to administration.
- Handle contracts and other documentation related to the receiving and administration process.
Qualifications
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who thrives in a coordinating role where you can combine structure, development work, and collaboration with many different contact surfaces. You have an interest in the urban development process and are motivated by creating efficient working methods that contribute to quality in the transition from project to administration.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A degree in urban development or other education that the employer considers equivalent.
- Experience in coordinating project documentation within construction and infrastructure projects.
- Work experience from design or project work.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.
It is meritorious if you have:
- Experience with digital project management.
- Experience with project handover to a receiving organization.
- Experience working as a quality handler, receiving coordinator, or similar.
As a person, you are self-reliant, structured, and often take your own initiatives to drive the work forward. You have an analytical approach and a holistic perspective that helps you see connections and make well-founded decisions. Since the role involves many contact surfaces, you are collaboration-oriented and build good relationships, both internally and externally. You are flexible and can adapt when conditions change, while taking responsibility for the work being carried out with high quality and good order.
