At Norconsult, we are developing tomorrow's power grid. We operate in a highly sought-after and expanding industry, and we would love to grow our team!

Here, you will become part of Norconsult's power line operations, where we work with the design and implementation of projects, primarily within regional and transmission networks. The role can be based in Gothenburg, Trollhättan, Stockholm, or another location where we have operations. Our power line departments consist of over 30 employees, and we work closely together across office boundaries.

In the role of Project Manager, you are responsible for leading and coordinating power line projects through the various stages of the project. You ensure that projects are delivered according to set goals regarding time, cost, quality, and working environment. The role involves close collaboration with customers, designers, permitting specialists, and other technical areas. You plan resources, monitor finances, and drive project progress together with the project team.

Your Profile

You have a relevant education, such as a Master of Science or Bachelor of Science in Engineering, and at least 5 years of experience from power line, electrical power, or infrastructure projects. You have experience in project management and are accustomed to coordinating project teams, handling customer dialogues, and monitoring finances and schedules. Experience in overhead line design and knowledge of tools such as PLS-CADD and/or ICEtow are meritorious but not required.

Established contacts within the energy industry are meritorious, as is an understanding of BIM processes and model-based working methods, as we drive several projects with digital deliverables. It is also meritorious if you have experience with contract forms such as ABK and AB, project control, risk management, financial monitoring, and certifications within ESA and BAS-P/U.

You are a structured, communicative, and business-minded person with a good ability to build trust with both customers and colleagues. You have natural leadership skills and thrive in a role where you coordinate people, drive work forward, and create engagement within the project team. Through clear communication, responsibility-taking, and a coaching approach, you enable different competencies to work towards common goals. You are accustomed to making decisions, handling complex issues, and creating the conditions for projects to be delivered with high quality. At the same time, you contribute to a hierarchical-free, inclusive, and development-oriented work climate.
