Your Role

As a Procurement Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient procurement planning and, together with the purchasing team, enabling a secure supply of purchased items for the production of the Gripen. You will work in close collaboration with the purchasing department and production, taking into account variations and risks in the supply chain in your planning to secure a good supply at the right cost.

Your tasks will include setting parameters and inventory control for Aeronautics purchased items, participating in the review of material requirements planning, clearing out incorrect purchase requisitions and investigating causes, as well as supporting adjacent functions with planning technical competence.

Your main responsibilities are:

• Manage and develop planning rules for parameter setting of Aeronautics purchased items.
• Continuously update and optimize inventory control parameters for purchased items in the business system.
• Be responsible for buffer control and selection of lot sizing methods to ensure appropriate supply of purchased items.
• Clear out and investigate incorrect or late purchase requisitions.
• Answer questions regarding the demand-driven nature of purchased items.
• Conduct Aeronautics material clearance with a focus on purchased items.
• Continuously work on continuous improvement of working methods and processes.

Your Profile

We are looking for a person who enjoys analyzing procurement planning information from the business system and has the ability to turn analysis into concrete actions to improve planning. You need to be proactive and structured in your work, meaning you have a strong desire to drive projects forward and the ability to organize and plan your work efficiently.

You possess good collaboration skills and can communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally, with adjacent functions.

To succeed in this role, we see that you:

• Have good insight into planning systems and business systems, as well as good analytical skills. It is important that you can see both the big picture and the details in your tasks.
• Have a technical or economic university degree or equivalent documented education. Theoretical knowledge within logistics is also an advantage.
• Have good knowledge of the Office package and English, both in speech and writing, which is necessary.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the currently applicable regulations for security clearance. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
