In the role of Mechanical Designer, you will work closely with our customers and development teams to develop smart, sustainable, and business-oriented design solutions. The projects vary in scope and technical content and can span multiple industries and technology areas.

As a Mechanical Designer, you will:

• Work with mechanical design in both small and large development projects
• Develop innovative technical solutions based on customer needs and requirements
• Create models, concepts, and design documentation for new products and functions
• Perform strength calculations and technical analyses
• Select suitable materials and manufacturing methods with a focus on quality, function, and cost-effectiveness
• Collaborate cross-functionally with electronics, hardware, and software developers, test engineers, and project managers
• Participate throughout the entire development process – from idea and concept to finished solution

We are looking for a Mechanical Designer who:

• Has a post-secondary technical education in, for example, mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Has at least 3 years of experience in mechanical design
• Has experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, Creo, or similar
• Has experience with Matlab and Simulink
• Has experience in product development and technical design
• Experience in software development is a plus
• Communicates fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
