Driven by seeing your ideas come to life? Welcome to our exciting and technology-intensive world.
Your Role
We are looking for a team member to join our group of planners responsible for workshop planning at maintenance facilities. The relevant maintenance facilities work with mechanical and electromechanical systems for both civilian and military customers. Together with planners based in Arboga, we form a section responsible for production planning, order management, and customer support. The section has a team leader in each location, and we work on shared issues and contracts.
You will be stationed in the Malmslätt district of Linköping, but business travel occurs, primarily to Arboga. In the team, we drive continuous improvement work, and we apply LEAN principles in our goal management.
As a planner, you will:
- Create an overview and understanding of how workshop units should be prioritized through dialogue with various parts of the business.
- Work with recovery plans to ensure delivery capability and resource utilization.
- Be responsible for material security in close collaboration with relevant functions.
- Regularly report delivery status and follow up on planned activities.
- Collaborate closely with production managers, the purchasing department, and engineers to ensure that set delivery dates are met.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who enjoys an operational planning role where you can utilize your strengths in structuring and handling data, as well as prioritizing and planning. You thrive in a business-oriented environment and actively strive for high service levels and customer satisfaction. You achieve this primarily through interaction and collaboration within your immediate work group and with other organizational units within Saab.
To fit the role, we believe you enjoy a wide network and that your workday varies depending on incoming tasks. You are self-reliant and solution-oriented, and you adapt to and contribute to changes that benefit the goal.
We believe that through previous work experience in planning/logistics, you have gained a good understanding of flows and processes, and that you are familiar with business systems such as IFS, SAP, or similar. Since, as a planner, you are expected to handle large amounts of data and work with international business and projects, good knowledge of Excel and the ability to express yourself well in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing, are essential.
The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
What You Will Be Part Of
Discover endless possibilities. Take on challenges, create smart innovations, and upgrade your skills. This is a place for clever thinkers, brave pioneers, and everyone in between. Together we achieve the extraordinary, each bringing their unique perspective. Every contribution counts.
