About the Job

As a Project Manager/Designer within Energy & Process, you have a key role in both project management and technical design/engineering. You have overall responsibility for the entire process, from leading projects from idea to completion, as well as ensuring that technical solutions are well-designed and meet specification requirements. The role requires a combination of technical competence, organizational skills, and leadership. You report directly to the Business Area Project Manager and ensure that projects are carried out in an efficient, structured, and safe manner.

As a Project Manager/Designer, you will plan, drive, and follow up on projects from start to final delivery according to agreed schedules and budgets. You are responsible for coordinating and communicating between different departments, such as technology, procurement, production, and customers, to ensure that project goals are achieved and that quality and safety standards are met.

In terms of design work, you design technical solutions and create production drawings in CAD systems, as well as developing and optimizing technical solutions to meet customer specifications and requirements for sustainability and cost-effectiveness. You collaborate with other designers and production personnel to ensure that the design can be manufactured and assembled efficiently. You also calculate costs and quote products and services to customers.

We are looking for

We are looking for you with relevant technical experience, for example in the design or manufacturing of steel structures and sheet metal details, preferably with experience of welding or equivalent work experience within technical or industrial projects. You might work as a mechanic and want to develop within design and drawing, or you have previously worked as a designer and want to take the next step into project management. Experience with CAD programs, knowledge of material selection, and experience of collaborating with subcontractors are meritorious.

Previous experience with scheduling and budget monitoring, as well as good leadership and communication skills, are meritorious. You work as efficiently in a team as independently and communicate fluently in Swedish, and preferably English, both verbally and in writing.

Scope and Location

Full-time. Based in Norrköping, but business travel is included.
Requirement: B driving license
