About the Role

In the role of Project Quality Engineer, you will belong to a department working with advanced technical systems within the defense industry. You will become part of a business where quality is a central function, and the work is divided into several areas, including project quality, line support, and software quality. This role is focused on project quality within aftermarket projects, where you will support project management before, during, and after delivery.

You will work in an international environment with many interfaces, both internally and externally. The role involves contact with end-users, primarily abroad, as well as collaboration with organizations working on the maintenance of technical equipment and operational systems. To thrive in this role, we look for someone with a clear project mindset and an understanding of how projects are driven forward. It is more important that you have experience in project work and quality issues in a larger technical context than being a specialist in all parts of quality.

Responsibilities

• Support project management in daily project work related to quality
• Work with quality issues before, during, and after delivery in aftermarket projects
• Ensure that projects are driven in line with relevant processes, requirements, and quality routines
• Coordinate and follow up on quality-related activities in the project
• Have contact with internal and external stakeholders, including international interfaces
• Contribute structure, follow-up, and a quality perspective in the different phases of the project

We are looking for someone who

• Has approximately five years of relevant work experience or more
• Has experience in quality, for example as a Quality Engineer, Project Quality Engineer, Project Engineer, or similar role
• Has experience working in large projects, assignments, or technical organizations
• Has an understanding of how projects are driven and how quality is integrated into project work
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, as both languages are used in internal and external interfaces

It is not necessary, but meritorious if you have:

• Experience with regulatory requirements related to aviation, the defense industry, or other safety-critical operations
• Experience with development projects in a technical environment
• Experience from the defense industry, aviation, technical aftermarket, or other regulated operations
• Experience with aftermarket projects, maintenance, or operational technical equipment

You have a good ability to coordinate, drive issues forward, and create structure even when projects involve multiple interfaces and parallel activities. Furthermore, you are proactive and responsible, with an ability to see both details and the big picture. About the Employment

This position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the current regulations for security clearance. For positions where our client has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.

This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday.
