As a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) at Combitech in Linköping, you work on assignments for our customers to improve quality among their suppliers. As an SQE, you will collaborate with various functions both internally within the customer organization and with the customer's external suppliers. Assignments vary across product areas, ranging from latest prototype development to high-volume production. Your role as a consultant in Supplier Quality

As an SQE, you will lead and drive improvement work with and among the customer's suppliers related to purchasing quality. You usually work together with the purchasing department, where the task may involve qualifying new suppliers and monitoring performance in the existing supplier base within one or several purchasing areas. Together with the development department, purchasing, and the supplier, you will ensure quality assurance in the development of new components or systems in development projects and ensure that manufacturing processes at suppliers maintain high quality.

The role involves proactively preventing and remedying quality deficiencies among suppliers by independently conducting follow-ups, process audits, and supplier assessments. You will lead and coordinate sustainability activities related to the customer's supplier base, initiate and drive improvement projects in long-term sustainability work, and monitor and strengthen compliance with agreed improvement activities, such as in complaint processes. The tasks will most likely also involve analyzing and initiating improvements in deviation management both at the supplier and internally at the customer. Some business travel is involved in the role.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a civil engineer or have another equivalent academic background, as well as experience working in relevant roles within the manufacturing industry. In your daily work, you will meet people at all levels and functions, which places high demands on your communication skills and your ability to create a trusting and positive atmosphere. The assignments require very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, in a technical context.

As the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you must undergo and pass a security clearance with register check.
