Stensveden Preschool is located in a picturesque setting within a residential area, close to forests and water. The preschool consists of 3 departments for children aged 1–5 years. Here you will find dedicated preschool teachers and childcare assistants who are passionate about giving children the best possible start in life and helping them develop into socially competent citizens. At our preschool, there is joy in work, professional pride, and a strong sense of community, with a commitment to ensuring every child succeeds and develops. We have a mix of experienced and newly graduated preschool teachers working together with childcare assistants to continuously improve and develop our teaching. Job Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher with us, you will work pedagogically with children aged 1–5 years.

Your most important task is to create and develop a safe and secure environment for the children, where they are attracted and challenged to engage in activities, learning, and taking responsibility. Together with your colleagues in the work team, you will create an environment based on the children's needs and interests, allowing the children to feel they have influence and are involved in shaping the preschool's environment and activities. This requires you to take personal responsibility and collaborate both within the work team and with parents and other staff.

Ludvika Municipality is investing in systematic quality work for the preschool. Through pedagogical documentation, the preschool is monitored, evaluated, and developed. In this work, you will be a key player in the shared responsibility to plan, implement, document, and follow up on activities based on current governing documents.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• A preschool teacher education or teacher education for younger years with a valid teaching license.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

The following qualifications are meritorious:

• Knowledge of special needs education, communication, and/or clarifying pedagogy.

Personal Qualities

To succeed in the role of preschool teacher, you must have the ability to create calm and security within the group of children, fostering a creative and learning environment. You have excellent knowledge and understanding of the importance of play for learning and the development of young children.

Your attitude towards people is positive, and you easily build good relationships with both children and adults. Your structured approach to work and sense of responsibility enable you to work independently and adapt to various situations.

You have good collaboration skills and communication abilities, viewing the work team as an asset where you jointly drive organizational development.
