We are now looking for two dedicated support assistants for our newly opened group home, Brunnsängen, in Öjersjö, for young adults. Here you will have the opportunity to be involved from the start and contribute to creating a service where development, participation, and independence are at the center.

The residents are young and active, so we are looking for you who thrive with an active work approach. You enjoy being outdoors, are eager to initiate walks, outings, exercise, and other activities, and see the value in creating a rich and meaningful everyday life together with the residents.

You provide support in everything from daily routines to leisure activities, always based on the individual's needs, goals, and conditions. No day is like the other, and you need to be able to think on your feet, adapt, and be creative in how you provide support. The role also includes care work, social documentation, and work with implementation plans. You collaborate with the residents, relatives/guardians, and colleagues in other services.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• Support assistant education, vocational diploma from the Care and Care Program with a focus on disability, education with a focus on social/pedagogical work, or other education that the employer considers suitable
• Experience working with people with disabilities
• Knowledge of and ability to use AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication)
• A low-affective approach in your work
• Experience with social documentation and ability to document according to current guidelines

It is meritorious if you have:

• A Class B driver's license
• Experience working with computers, mobile phones, and service systems as a natural part of daily work

In challenging situations, you are solution-focused and maintain a calm and professional attitude. You are flexible and can quickly adapt to changes, while also having an interest in development and a willingness to test new methods and approaches.

Good to know

To be called for an interview, a passing grade in Swedish 1 at the upper secondary level or equivalent must be presented. If this is missing, you will be asked to take a digital language test.

Near Brunnsängen, there is also our short-term stay and short-term supervision service, which shares the same unit manager. The services collaborate closely, and in some cases, work shifts may occur in these services if needed.

The residence has a nature-friendly location with good transport connections. It is easy to get here by direct bus from Liseberg station, making the workplace easily accessible by both public transport and car.
