In your daily work, you will receive close support from the Senior Social Worker and the Unit Manager. A good work environment and a sustainable working life are important to us; we conduct workload assessments, and there is an opportunity to work remotely one day per week. In addition, we offer among other things an induction program, flexitime, leave on sandwich days, wellness allowance/fitness time, and external supervision.

We are located in new, fresh premises near the Travel Center, which creates good opportunities for you as a commuter.

Who are we?

Here in Falköping, we invest in children and families and dare to think new thoughts together. We work to provide the right support quickly and to create continuity throughout the process for the families we meet. We focus heavily on finding creative and individual solutions locally, based on the needs of the individual child.

Our unit consists of eighteen employees who, together and from their different roles, are responsible for intake, investigation, and follow-up of open measures regarding children and young people. You will be part of one of two investigation groups. Each group is led by a Senior Social Worker who supports you in your daily work.

As a Social Worker in the investigation group, you work with preliminary assessments, investigations, and follow-up of open measures for children, adolescents, and parents. We strive to provide families with support at an early stage and as much as possible locally, and you will become a key person in the collaboration surrounding the families we meet.

What are we looking for in you?

We are looking for you who have a degree in Social Work (or alternatively education that meets the eligibility requirements to work with authority exercises within child and youth services). It is an advantage if you have experience with authority exercises regarding children and young people, experience with the business system Viva, BBIC training, or MI training. A valid driver's license (Category B) is required.

As a person, you see solutions and contribute positive energy to a fast-paced and complex professional practice. You want to make a difference for children and their families; you believe in every individual's potential for change and see the family network as a positive driving force. You have a good ability to build trust, listen, and adapt to new people and situations, and you are good at organizing and planning to drive your work forward independently. You are well-versed in the laws and regulations applicable in the area and have a good ability to express yourself in writing.
