Personal Assistance for young adults within the framework of the Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS).

We are currently looking for personal assistants for two brothers, born in 2005 and 2007, who live together in Angered, Gothenburg.

They both have extensive care needs and receive personal assistance due to, among other things, autism, ADHD, developmental disability, OCD, and gastrostomy. This means they require significant hands-on help and support from their assistants to ensure that structure and numerous routines create the calmest possible daily life.

The job requires the ability and interest to work methodically, while also being open to sudden changes. Since they cannot communicate verbally, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) – i.e., pictures, gestures, and signs – is used in daily communication. Their interests include, among other things, animals, being outdoors, "playing", swimming, goofing around, and music.

We are looking for someone with high energy and a genuine interest in working with clients within the LSS framework. Previous experience working within LSS, or alternatively experience working with people with disabilities, home care, nursing homes with high care needs, etc., is an advantage. Most importantly, you must be motivated and interested in learning within this field.

You will primarily work in a team, but individual work also occurs.

Education/experience with the mentioned diagnoses, low-arousal approach (low-efficiency interaction), and alternative communication is desirable.

Working hours vary: days, evenings, and weekends.

After completing the introduction, night shifts may also be included.

Total workload: up to 100%.

Individual salary setting based on competence, experience, and responsibility.

Start date by agreement.

A Swedish personal identity number and a comprehensive extract from the police record are required.
