About Tärnaby and Our Operations

The health centre in Tärnaby is part of the Southern Lapland Primary Care Area, which serves as a model area for the transition to close-to-home care. Through effective collaboration and a focus on the citizen, we drive important changes within the region and in cooperation with the municipality. Remote clinical assessments and digital care meetings are developing rapidly and are crucial for securing good, accessible, and close-to-home care in this area. Therefore, it is no coincidence that we are at the forefront in this field. The rural health clinic model, a key starting point for close-to-home care, influences both our approach and daily work methods.

The health centre functions as a well-equipped mini-hospital with access to emergency care beds, X-ray, ambulance services, and a laboratory. Our use of telemedicine is well-developed. The staff includes occupational therapists, midwives, physiotherapists, counselors, doctors, psychologists, secretaries, nurses, and nursing assistants. We provide emergency care as well as standard health center services, with well-developed collaboration among all our professional groups and with the municipalities.

Your Role as a Nurse

We are now looking for a nurse for our health centre in Tärnaby. 1 position.

Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better. You work professionally, always keeping the patient in focus. As a nurse, you must address patients' medical and specific care needs, and then plan and prioritize the measures to be implemented.

The role of nurse also requires the ability to lead and motivate other care staff to create a good work environment and offer quality care together. The work demands independence, problem-solving skills, and the ability to make timely decisions in the correct order.

Qualifications

You must have a license as a nurse.
