We offer interesting and educational part-time jobs and sometimes longer temporary positions within various operations in Umeå, Hörnefors, Sävar, Holmsund/Obbola, and Tavelsjö. We provide care around the clock, every day of the year, to people who need support to manage their daily lives.
We are currently looking for you who want to work part-time as needed or take on a longer temporary position of up to 6 months. Working hours vary, and we are looking for you who can work days, evenings, weekends, or nights.
What can you work with?
Within elderly care, you can work in a care and nursing home, a short-term residence, or in home care services. In all these operations, we focus on the strengths of the individual and work to preserve their abilities. Common tasks include supporting daily activities, engaging in activities, personal hygiene (such as showering and toilet visits), and administering medication to those who need it. In home care, you visit several different people during a day in their homes, so you must be able to cycle and/or drive a car.

You who apply:
• You must be at least 18 years old.
• We seek people with different experiences and backgrounds, including those who may not have gained much experience yet. The most important thing for us is that you have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, are receptive, and respect both the individual and your colleagues. It is an advantage if you have care experience and/or relevant education, but personal suitability is of great importance.
• To communicate with the individual, relatives, and colleagues, as well as to write and read care documentation and receive medication delegation, you must have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
• If you work in home care, you must be able to cycle and/or have a driver's license.
Checks upon employment:
- Residence and work permit: If you are not an EU citizen, you must submit a copy of your residence and work permit. If the validity has expired, you must submit a receipt showing that you have applied for an extension.
- Criminal record check: Before any employment, we check the criminal record. This is an important part of ensuring the quality of our operations. We recommend ordering this now, as it can take 1-2 weeks if sent to your registered address. If you have Kivra or another digital mailbox, the extract will arrive within hours. Here is a link to the police authority: Work in the home with elderly and people with disabilities (https://polisen.se). You will not be offered a position until this has been presented.
- References: Another step we take to ensure quality is obtaining references before employment. Please contact your references now so you can provide them at the interview. Preferably your most recent manager/supervisor or similar person with personnel responsibility.
