Skellefteå Primary Care Southern Base Unit consists of the health centers in Anderstorp, Bureå, Burträsk, and Lövånger. Here, we work together to develop primary care.

Bureå Health Center now needs to strengthen its team with an additional district nurse/registered nurse.

Bureå Health Center, with approximately 3,300 registered patients, is located close to the city, with Skellefteå city center just 15 minutes away. The town is growing due to its rural and scenic location as well as its proximity to central Skellefteå. At Bureå Health Center, you will quickly become "one of the team." Currently, we have a general practitioner, specialty trainee doctors, resident doctors, district nurses, registered nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, and rehabilitation coordinators. Here, community and collaboration are keywords that are truly felt in the walls. We have stable staffing over time and low barriers between colleagues. Work environment, patient safety, and innovation are our guiding principles.

NOTE! This is a permanent position within Region Västerbotten with a substitute placement at Bureå Health Center during the period 2026-08-31 to 2027-10-01. Thereafter, another placement may become relevant, primarily within primary care in the Skellefteå local healthcare area and secondarily within other operations in Region Västerbotten.

Job Description

As a district nurse/registered nurse with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better.

You meet and care for children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly in both planned and acute clinics throughout life. You see the person and their context and meet the patient in a professional manner. The job is varied, involving telephone advice, consultations, care adjustments, follow-ups, and other health-promoting work.

We believe you are a careful and social person who prioritizes good treatment and patient safety. We imagine you are confident in your profession, have a good sense of humor, contribute with good examples, and prefer to learn from mistakes rather than criticize them. You are interested in person-centered care, good and close healthcare, and find it exciting to develop new ways of working.

Qualifications

A licensed nurse is required; further education as a district nurse is meritorious. As a person, you are flexible, have good collaboration skills, and can work independently as well as part of a team. You are positive towards change and actively contribute to a good work environment. We are looking for someone who is confident in their profession and interested in contributing to the development of the health center. We appreciate that critical thinking and a positive basic attitude go hand in hand.

Swedish level C is a requirement.
