Dental Hygienists needed in Umeå, Nordmaling and Vindeln (Fixed-term)

At Folktandvården (Public Dental Health Services), we are at the forefront of research and development and maintain close cooperation with the Department of Odontology at Umeå University. Within Folktandvården, we cover a wide range of competence areas. We provide both general and specialist dental care, and we also participate in the clinical education of dentists, dental hygienists, dental nurses, and dental technicians. We work in modern, well-equipped facilities and are located at several sites throughout the county. We are proud of our range of wellness activities, and of course, you receive a wellness allowance.

We are now recruiting dental hygienists for positions in Umeå, Nordmaling, and Vindeln (fixed-term contracts). We provide modern, health-oriented dental care for both children and adults, and we are looking for you who want to make a difference. Job Description

As a dental hygienist with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that make people feel safe.

We offer varied work with patients of all ages, and you will work with both promoting, preventive, and disease-treating measures. With us, you will receive a thorough introduction to your new job with good opportunities for development and the chance to work within your specific areas of interest. As a recent graduate, you will have access to clinical supervision and support so that you can develop and grow into your professional role.

As a dental hygienist, you work independently and perform examinations and treatments for conditions such as caries and periodontal disease, as well as identifying, assessing, and planning oral health care interventions. Mobile dental care and preventive work at Child Health Centers (BVC) and schools may also be part of the duties.

We are proud of the collaboration between our clinics. This contributes to good development opportunities and may mean that work at more than one workplace could become relevant.

We use computerized scheduling and the T4 journal system, as well as the speech recognition tool Voxit Vocal.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed dental hygienist, or who are about to complete your dental hygienist education. We place importance on you being engaged, knowledgeable, and passionate about performing your work with high quality and customer satisfaction.

You are responsible and consider patient care a natural part of the job. This includes the ability to see the patient's needs from a holistic perspective. You communicate easily and have good skills in organizing and prioritizing work. You are flexible, capable of taking personal responsibility, and driven by a desire to develop. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
