Here at Folktandvården, we are at the forefront of research and development and have a close collaboration with the Department of Odontology at Umeå University. Within Folktandvården, there is a wide range of competence areas. We provide both general and specialist dental care, and we also participate in the clinical education of dentists, dental hygienists, dental nurses, and dental technicians. We work in modern and well-equipped premises located in several places across the county. We are proud of our range of wellness activities, and of course, you will receive a wellness allowance.

We are now recruiting dental hygienists for Folktandvården Burträsk, Norsjö/Malå, and Citykliniken in Skellefteå. We provide modern, health-oriented dental care for both children and adults, and we are looking for you who want to make a difference. Here, you will have the opportunity to work with high-quality dental care in an organization where commitment, development, and patient focus are at the center. At Folktandvården Anderstorp in Skellefteå, there is a specialist clinic for orthodontics, and the new Folktandvården unit, Competence Centre, which is currently under construction, will also be located there. We also provide anesthesia dental care for children and adults at Skellefteå Hospital.

In Malå, it is easy to feel at home. The area is characterized by security, care, and closeness – both between people and to nature. Job Responsibilities

As a dental hygienist with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that make people feel secure.

We offer a varied job working with patients of all ages, and you will work with both promoting, preventive, and disease-treating measures. With us, you will receive a thorough introduction to your new job with good development opportunities and the chance to work within your specific areas of interest. As a new graduate, you will have access to clinical supervision and support so that you can develop and grow into your professional role.

As a dental hygienist, you work independently and perform examinations and treatments for conditions such as caries and periodontal disease, as well as identifying, assessing, and planning oral health care interventions. Mobile dental care as well as preventive work at Child Health Centers (BVC) and schools may also be part of the duties.

We are proud of the collaboration that exists between our clinics. It contributes to good development opportunities and may mean that work at more than one of the workplaces could become relevant. We use computerized appointment booking and the T4 journal system, as well as the Voxit Vocal speech recognition tool.

Requirements and Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed dental hygienist, or who are about to complete your dental hygienist education. We place importance on you being committed, knowledgeable, and passionate about performing your work with high quality and customer satisfaction.

You are responsible and consider patient care a natural part of the job. This includes the ability to see the patient's needs from a holistic perspective. You communicate easily and have good skills in organizing and prioritizing work. You are flexible, capable of taking personal responsibility, and driven by a desire to develop. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
