Support Staff for Vinkelgatan Group Home in Höör

We are now hiring for a position at Vinkelgatan Group Home. Vinkelgatan Group Home is a residence partly characterized by an increasingly elderly target group. The work involves primarily care work as well as the execution of various HSL (Health and Social Care Act) assignments. Some residents are younger and have different requirements for activities and social content, meaning the residence must be able to meet the entire spectrum of housing within LSS (Law on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). Job Responsibilities

As support staff at Vinkelgatan's LSS housing, you work to support citizens in their daily lives.

Your mission is to strengthen the individual's self-determination, security, and participation. The tasks are varied and can range from helping with daily routines such as meals, hygiene, and household chores, to supporting social activities and acting as a link to society at large.

You work based on the citizens' implementation plans and continuously develop your methods and interventions so that they can achieve their goals. Together with other staff, you are responsible for planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of the operations.

You work with the technical and pedagogical aids available and use alternative and augmentative communication as support in your work.

The overarching goal is to have the citizens' needs at the center and to continuously adapt the support so that it is meaningful, and always to work based on the citizen's best interests.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a vocational degree from the Care and Nursing program, Child and Youth program, or other equivalent education assessed by the employer as equal, with at least two years of experience working in group homes. Experience working with pedagogical methods within LSS is meritorious.

We are looking for you who has a pedagogical perspective, is quality-conscious, meticulous, and keen to live up to the goals and intentions according to the LSS Act. To thrive in your professional role, you should have good self-insight and a positive attitude. You need to be interested in working with people of all ages and with varied support needs. You need to be able to perform heavy lifting and care work. You should be able to handle everyone, for the operations, existing HSL assignments, and be accustomed to working based on delegated tasks.

You have professional maturity, are responsible, and creative. You should have a strong will and drive to promote people's development based on their prerequisites. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing in Swedish.

Other Information

  • Questions about the position will be answered after July 20th when the undersigned is back from vacation.
  • Salary: Monthly salary.
  • Employment type: Permanent employment.
  • Duration: Start as soon as possible or as agreed.
  • Working hours: Schedule. The work involves day/evening/weekend shifts.

The position will be filled subject to the necessary political decisions being made and provided it does not need to be taken for internal use.
