Do you want a job where the relationship is at the center and where no day is like the other? I am now looking for a personal assistant for a maternity leave substitute position at 70% until May 2027.

I am a 21-year-old girl who needs support with things I find difficult, but also someone who wants to play around, dance, sing, improvise, and sometimes dress up. I have a great sense of humor, am creative, and have a vivid imagination. It is important to me to feel safe and free, which is why I am looking for an assistant who is calm, attentive, and open-minded.

About the position

• Maternity leave substitute position at 70% until May 2027
• Start date by agreement
• Mixed day and night shifts
• Fixed rolling 5-week schedule
• For the right person, there may be an opportunity for continued work as a summer substitute after the substitute period ends.

Working hours

• Day shift: 08:00-20:00
• Night shift: 20:00-08:00

You will work both day and night shifts.

About the work

I have 24/7 assistance, and the work usually means it is just you and me. Therefore, you need to enjoy working independently, take responsibility, and feel confident making everyday decisions. In some situations, we work together with another assistant.

Sometimes I want to be alone in my room. Then you need to be able to give me that space while keeping an eye on how I am doing. During calmer moments, you also help with household tasks.

You will receive a thorough introduction and will not be left alone until you feel secure in your work.

About me

I appreciate a daily life with security, humor, and joy. Due to my disability and epilepsy, I get brain fatigue easily and am sensitive to sudden noises.

I talk quite a bit, but I often understand better when things are shown, drawn, or supported by signs. I live alone in a house in Stoby, where I am very happy together with my assistants.

Due to my epilepsy, I prefer to stay home right now. When I feel more energetic, however, it is fun to go out for activities or excursions. I have my own car, which you will drive for work purposes.

I am also practicing different tastes and consistencies and receive some of my nutrition via a feeding tube. Experience with tube feeding is meritorious, but not a requirement.

My parents have a cat, and I am often there, so you must be able to tolerate cats.

Who are you?

You are secure, calm, and positive. You have an easy time reading situations and can adapt to how I am feeling and what I need. You have humor, enjoy being yourself, and understand the importance of structure, responsibility, and patience.

Since we will spend a lot of time together, I place great emphasis on personal suitability. The most important thing is that we get along and function well together.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Category B driver's license (you drive my car for work)
• Non-smoker during working hours
• Tolerant of cats

Meritorious

• Experience in personal assistance
• Experience with epilepsy
• Experience with tube feeding
• Sign language support
• Experience with autism and ADHD

We are also looking for casual workers who can work as needed.
