About the Position

Do you remember what it was like to be an 11-year-old boy, and do you have a positive attitude towards life? If so, you might be the person we are looking for!

Our client attends school according to the national curriculum and brings his assistant with him. This is where you will work for the majority of your hours. Your role will be to ensure that our client can be just like any other 11-year-old, despite his conditions and the challenges involved. He wants to be like his peers, which means you need to be able to read the room, stay in the background when appropriate, but step in quickly if our client needs you.

Your Responsibilities

• He needs supervision around the clock regarding his breathing, so you need to learn to interpret our client's body signals.
• He needs ongoing assistance with inhalation during the day.
• He is tube-fed according to a schedule, and extra nutrition is given when needed.
• He needs help with mobility and dressing as he has difficulty lifting his arms and has muscle weakness.

About You

We are looking for you, a guy, who remembers what it was like to be 11 years old. We believe you are between 22–30 years old. Being interested in sports is a big plus, but our client also enjoys gaming. You need to be attentive in the moment and see what needs to be done, while also being able to stay in the background when required.

The family has two dogs, so you must not have any allergies or be afraid of dogs. Naturally, you must be a non-smoker.

Job Details and Schedule

The position is approximately 85%. You will start at the school where the client attends (Bunkeflostrand) at 08:00. Then you will go home with the client so you are home by 15:00, every day except Friday when you are home at 14:30 and finish your day. We hope you are flexible regarding times, and there will also be occasions when you work in a home environment, such as during school holidays.

Conditions and Application

To ensure safe and secure assistance, we conduct a background check if you become a candidate for the position. If the work involves interventions for persons over 18, you must present an extract from the criminal record and suspicion register. If the work involves interventions for children, you must submit an extract from the criminal record and suspicion register, which is stored with us for 2 years in accordance with current legislation.
