Job Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, among other things, processing detailed planning cases, supervisory guidance towards municipal building boards, housing supply issues, and supervision of support linked to housing construction.

Infrastructure cases, network concession cases, and emergency preparedness issues may also become part of your tasks.

The work is outward-facing, and you will have contact with the counties' municipalities for ongoing consultation regarding current planning proposals, housing supply, supervisory guidance, and other related issues. Internally, you will collaborate with representatives from nature conservation, cultural heritage, environmental protection, and others. You may also participate in consultations, investigations, and projects related to planning and construction.

About the Workplace

Within the area of urban planning and housing, the County Administrative Board is tasked with working for a good built environment, providing advice, and supporting the municipalities and residents in the county. We do this in collaboration with other activities within the County Administrative Board, as well as together with municipalities and other authorities.

Qualifications

• An academic degree with a focus on urban planning, or other relevant education/experience deemed equivalent by the County Administrative Board.
• Professional background as an urban planner, building engineer, or similar from, for example, the County Administrative Board or a municipality.
• Good experience with the planning and construction process.

Merits

• Experience with grant and support systems.
• Current experience with the County Administrative Boards' various case processing systems, such as Platina or Bofink.
• Experience with emergency preparedness issues.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).

Personal Qualities

You have the ability to work both independently and in a team. You are structured, can take initiative, have good prioritization skills, and can approach issues from a holistic perspective. Since the work involves contact with other actors, you need to be relationship-building, enjoy collaborating with other people, and communicate in an easy-to-understand manner, both orally and in writing.
