The Planning and Finance Department provides support to the entire operational area of planning, finance, and procurement, both strategically and operationally. We work with operational and financial management through operational planning, internal control, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, follow-up, and analysis. Within the procurement and purchasing area, we support the university's entire purchasing process.

Job Responsibilities
You will work as a support to the Vice-Chancellor, department heads, and unit managers with distribution models, budget, forecasts, accounts, reporting, analyses, financial investigations, and reports within operational support. The role also involves communicating financial information in a correct and pedagogical manner to non-financial staff, as well as creating reports in Power BI.
You work independently and take initiative while collaborating with colleagues and others. You are involved in developing common financial processes and enjoy improving internal routines and processes. You have analytical skills, are solution-oriented, structured, and have good communication skills.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have:
- A university degree in economics or equivalent education assessed by the employer as equivalent,
- Several years of relevant experience in similar work,
- Good accounting knowledge,
- Very good knowledge of Excel,
- Good knowledge of English and Swedish, both spoken and written,
- Independence and ability to prioritize in a complex and sometimes fast-paced environment.
Merits
For this position, the following are considered meritorious:
- Experience from controller work, preferably in the public sector,
- Experience with the financial system Unit4-ERP (Agresso) or other business systems,
- Experience with Power BI,
- Experience in independently driving development work,
- Experience in working with operational follow-up.
