Rudbeck is Sollentuna Municipality’s upper secondary school, located in a scenic area next to Edsviken and Edsbergsparken, approximately 20 miles north of Stockholm. Around 2,400 students study here, and approximately 250 employees work together to create an inspiring and developmental school environment. The wide range of students, programs, and competencies contributes to a diversity we are very proud of.

The school has a service unit with 16 employees responsible for reception, administration, finance, bookkeeping, IT, and maintenance. Together, we work to provide the operations with professional and service-oriented support.

We are now looking for a communicator at 50% for a temporary position at Rudbeck.

Responsibilities

As a communicator, you are responsible for developing and managing the school's communication, both internally and externally. A central part of the role is to be in charge of the content on the school's website, ensuring that the information is current, clear, accessible, and adapted to users' needs.

In this role, you produce, process, and publish texts for various communication channels, including the web, internal information channels, and social media. You also coordinate and order graphic materials for both internal communication and marketing efforts, such as for fairs and other events. Furthermore, you are responsible for creating and ordering advertisements in various media.

You are part of the school's service unit and report to our administrative manager.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a university education in communication or other education that the employer deems equivalent and relevant for the position. You have experience working as a communicator and are accustomed to creating, processing, and adapting content for different target groups and communication channels, including social media.

You have good knowledge of web publishing and experience working in CMS tools such as SiteVision, WordPress, and Optimizely. You also have experience coordinating orders for graphic materials and acting as a link between operations and designers.

The position requires that you express yourself very well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and that you have a good sense of language, structure, and target-group-adapted communication.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. For employment within the school, an extract from the criminal record is required. Interviews are planned to begin at the end of week 32.
