HR Consultant in Occupational Health and Safety – Kramfors Municipality

The HR department consists of twelve employees within payroll and HR who work in close collaboration with each other and the operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an HR Consultant with us, you play a central role in developing, driving, and following up on the municipality's occupational health and safety work. You are part of the HR unit, which is on an exciting development journey, where you, together with your colleagues, help shape the future of HR in Kramfors Municipality.

In this role, you work with a consultative and coaching approach, supporting managers in putting their occupational health and safety responsibilities into practice. The role is both strategic and operational, with a clear focus on structure, quality, and long-term development.

In the role, you will among other things:

• develop, coordinate, and follow up on the municipality's systematic occupational health and safety work (SAM), including ensuring compliance with legislation
• create and further develop guidelines, routines, and support within the occupational health and safety area
• analyze incidents, work-related injuries, and other occupational health and safety data to identify risks and areas for development
• provide qualified support to managers in occupational health and safety work, for example during risk assessments, safety rounds, and action plans
• plan and implement training initiatives and collaborate with safety representatives and trade unions

We are a small HR organization where we work closely with each other and the operations. This means that, in addition to your specialist area, you also contribute to other HR-related issues. The role suits you if you thrive in a broad context where we together take responsibility for the whole.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a university education in HR/personnel, occupational health and safety, or another education that the employer considers equivalent.

You have experience in HR work and good knowledge in the occupational health and safety area, including relevant legislation such as the Work Environment Act (AML) and systematic occupational health and safety work (SAM). Experience of both strategic and operational occupational health and safety work is meritorious, as is experience from a politically governed organization.
