We are looking for a Management Coordinator at Lantmäteriet

Lantmäteriet is the authority that maps Sweden. Our tasks also include registering and securing ownership of all real estate and managing their boundaries. We are now looking for you who have a strong commitment to society.

Lantmäteriet is the state cadastral authority and administrative authority for matters concerning real estate division, basic geographic information, real estate information, and registration. Lantmäteriet is governed, among other things, by the government's annual letter of delegation and is a board authority. The Director General is the head of the authority at Lantmäteriet.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now strengthening the team around the Director General and are therefore looking for a Management Coordinator. Today there are two employees on the team, and it will shortly be expanded with several other competencies. You will have the opportunity to influence and shape working methods and processes and create results in close collaboration with others. A goal with the DG team is a unified and coordinated support.

The DG team provides strategic and administrative management support to the Director General (DG) and coordinates certain authority-wide issues. The team has tasks such as coordinating, initiating, and driving issues in relation to the Government Offices, assisting the Legal Counsel with legislative development, coordinating the DG's cases and preparation of such cases before decisions, quality assuring and following up on some of the authority's planning, steering, and supporting documents, and providing administrative support to the board, DG, and management group. This also entails responsibility for planning and coordinating both the work in Lantmäteriet's management group and the board work.

As a Management Coordinator, you will have an important and coordinating role as support to several business area managers. Your closest colleague is the DG's secretary, and you have a close collaboration in daily work and cover for each other during absences. The role also entails support to other managers within the authority. The tasks imply that you are expected to be able to represent the DG or a business area manager in current issues towards other functions within the authority, both in the dimensions of steering and support.

Your tasks are diverse and varied with the common denominator of service, good structure, and quality. To thrive in the role, you need to be attracted to a job that offers varied tasks where flexibility is required. You enjoy seeking collaborations and finding solutions together with others. Even when assignments are unclear or at a stage where no one has much fact.

You will be a support in e.g., booking meetings, conferences, email handling, and mail. You will also handle internal processes such as keeping preparations together, writing background materials, facilitating recurring meeting series, suggesting efficiencies and improvements of routines and working methods. You will have great insight into what is happening in the organization and report directly to the head of the DG team.

The location is at Lantmäteriet's offices in Gävle, Uppsala, or Stockholm. The majority of employees within the team are located in Gävle, which is why regular presence in Gävle is required.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a high school diploma and several years of experience in similar work in a larger public organization/authority. This means for us that you have at least 3 years of experience working as management support for managers in the highest management group in a larger public organization/authority. You have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and have good knowledge of technical work tools such as the Office package.

It is important that you can absorb and understand our daily life and our needs and can translate this into action.

You have an important and central role for Lantmäteriet's top managers, and your coordinated effort contributes to a smooth working day for the management. A great trust rests on you, and your working style is proactive, attentive, and solution-oriented. Your work is varied, and you have opportunities to influence and develop your tasks and working methods yourself. The role presupposes good collaboration both internally and externally. Your personal qualities are therefore of great importance to us. We are looking for you who have the ability to create structure and order and have a good foresight in your work. You have a clear own drive, are quick to take own initiatives, and work well on your own. You also find it easy to collaborate with others and create professional and trusting relationships. Providing good service feels easy and natural to you. You are thorough and care about delivering with good quality. You handle both routine work and new challenges without problems. You can also analyze existing working methods and come up with suggestions for new ones. It is important that you can handle confidential information with high integrity.

In addition, you have personal ability and aptitude to work in accordance with Lantmäteriet's employee criteria.

Working in the state means that you follow the state's value base. There are also special requirements on judgment, security thinking, and that you follow current laws.

The position is security classified, which means that you must be a Swedish citizen and that a security investigation with register check and security investigation interview will be conducted before employment. The role also entails that you will be war-placed.
