YOUR NEW JOB

As an assistant nurse/care assistant within the home care service, you perform care and support work in the individual's home, and you also have some administrative tasks. You will work with, for example, personal care, self-care, service measures, social activities, and simple training at home. You also perform health and medical care tasks on delegation from a nurse, occupational therapist, or physiotherapist. The work includes daily documentation in Lifecare via both mobile phone and computer.

We work based on a care contact system, which means you may get a special responsibility for some users where you, among other things, are responsible for drawing up and updating the implementation plan in consultation with the user. You will be responsible for information transfer between users, elderly social secretaries, the work group, HSL staff, and relatives. You will also collaborate with the other home care groups and HSL staff.

You will work days, evenings, and weekends. You submit schedule preferences according to the current agreement on business-adapted working hours.

We are looking for you who will work in the home care group in Granö. We are looking for a permanent position, a fixed-term contract until 2027-08-31, as well as a fixed-term contract for the rest of the year.

YOUR COMPETENCE

We are looking for you who are trained as an assistant nurse, have other care education, or other experience assessed as equivalent. It is positive if you have experience of similar work.

For this job, it is required that you have good communicative skills both verbally and in writing, so that you can communicate with users and perform care documentation. Since your assignment is about providing service to our users, it is important that you are empathetic, can listen to others, and treat them well. You also need to be able to collaborate well with others. To thrive in the role, you need to be self-reliant. For us, this means that you take responsibility for your tasks and can work independently. You also need to be able to adapt and prioritize in the work when conditions change.

It is important that you see the equal value of all people and have a respectful attitude towards other people. We work with the user in focus and place high demands on you taking responsibility and working for the individual's best interest.
