The Neuro-Otorhinolaryngology Center (NHHC) consists of approximately 650 employees and is located at Norrlands University Hospital in Umeå. The center provides care with various aspects of investigation, treatment, and rehabilitation for diseases and injuries affecting the nervous system, brain, ears, nose, throat, and jaw surgery. The center is a county clinic providing highly specialized care for patients from the entire northern healthcare region, as well as conducting research, education, and development.
Within the field of ear, nose, and throat diseases, NHHC has both an outpatient clinic and a ward with a day-surgery unit. Here, patients with various forms of illness in the areas of general basic ear disease, audiology, phoniatrics, rhinology, otologic surgery, and tumor surgery are treated. We are a county clinic where combined resources are used in the most optimal way possible for the entire county. We offer an stimulating work environment with a pleasant atmosphere and close cooperation between different professional groups. We are affiliated with the Department of Clinical Science within the Faculty of Medicine at Umeå University.
We are now looking for a junior doctor (underläkare) to join our team. We offer stimulating work in a department with an open atmosphere and competent staff. Development and improvement work are important processes that engage and stimulate us at the workplace.

Job Description
As a junior doctor with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that make people feel secure.
The work as a junior doctor primarily involves working on the ward, including admission/discharge and care of both acute and surgical patients. On-call duties and own outpatient clinics are included. The tasks are intended as an introduction to the medical profession and take place under supervision.
On-call work may be relevant.
Qualifications
You do not need to be a licensed physician to apply, but you must have passed courses up to and including term 10 of the medical program at the latest upon commencement.
We require good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1. In addition to formal competence, you should have good judgment and a good ability to collaborate. It is natural for us that you have a good attitude towards both patients and colleagues.

Duration: 6 months or longer, Start date: Start date by agreement after the vacation period.
Working hours: Shift schedule.
