About Primary Care West and Vännäs Health Center

Primary Care West is a basic unit with four health centers in both the city and the countryside, distributed across four municipalities: Vindeln, Vännäs, Bjurholm, and Umeå. The health centers collaborate closely within the basic unit. Good connections with local and regional traffic make commuting to, from, and between our units possible.

Vännäs Health Center, beautifully located on the banks of the Ume River about 3 miles from Umeå city, is a newly built and modern facility. About forty employees work at the health center. In Vännäs, we work in various teams, conduct active occupational health and safety work, and have good collaboration with the municipality's various healthcare operations. Our keywords are: Pleasant, clear, consistent.

Job Responsibilities

As a physiotherapist/physiotherapist (sjukgymnast) with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that make people feel secure.

You work in a person-centered and evidence-based manner. You meet patients individually, plan, carry out, and evaluate your interventions. In your role, you collaborate in a team with colleagues and external actors.

20% of the position involves working in the PRIMO Tre Älvar team. This is a specialist team within Region Västerbotten for adults with congenital or early-onset disabilities. You work based on your specialized competence to offer support, care, and counseling to patients in collaboration with other staff such as doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist or sjukgymnast. We would appreciate if you have experience from primary care.

As a person, you are confident in your professional role and have good self-insight. You enjoy collaborating and being there for both employees and patients. You are good at building alliances with those you meet, structuring your work, and taking responsibility for driving your own processes forward. You have the ability to work independently and are solution-focused.

Employment type: Permanent.
Duration: Permanent, start date: As agreed, but no earlier than 2026-09-01.
Working hours: Daytime.
