The Geriatric Centre is a specialist clinic for patients requiring both acute and planned geriatric care and rehabilitation. Interprofessional teams conduct comprehensive assessments of elderly patients' medical, physical, mental, and social functional capacity during illness. Diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation are provided in both inpatient and outpatient settings, focusing on the individual patient's needs.

Orthogeriatrics, Ward 4, provides acute and subacute orthogeriatric care and rehabilitation.

We are now looking for a new colleague for a fixed-term position from 2026-09-01 to 2027-08-31. Are you the one we are looking for?

All our new colleagues undergo our introduction program together with experienced colleagues for 4 weeks, giving you a good insight, understanding, and basic security in your role. You will work according to a permanent night shift schedule with an employment rate of 87.8%, which corresponds to 18 nights over 6 weeks.

The role of enrolled nurse includes nursing work together with registered nurses. Together, you will conduct supervisory rounds during the night. The registered nurse holds the medical responsibility.

Qualifications

You have an enrolled nurse education and a certified course in emergency care. You enjoy working with the elderly, prioritize the patient, have a good manner of interaction, and adapt your care to the patient's different needs throughout the care process.

You take initiative, are easy to work with, and are curious about new challenges. You feel responsible and thrive in an environment with varied tasks and changing intensity. You work in a team and independently, where teamwork, initiative, flexibility, and attention to detail are qualities we value. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

As of July 1, 2023, "enrolled nurse" is a protected professional title. This means you need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) to use the title enrolled nurse within care and social services. You apply for the certificate of protected professional title for enrolled nurses from the National Board of Health and Welfare. If you have already received this certificate, we request that you attach it to your application.
