Nurse / District Nurse for Norsjö Health Centre

Within the Health and Medical Care Administration, primary care, dental care, and hospital care are united under one administration and organized into county and local healthcare areas. The Local Healthcare Area of Skellefteå includes the Emergency Department, Medical and Geriatric Clinic, Rehabilitation Centre, Psychiatric Clinic, 1177, Centre for Surgical Operations, as well as primary care in Skellefteå and Norsjö. Together, these units work towards providing good and accessible care. Norsjö Health Centre is part of Skellefteå Primary Care West, along with the health centres in Erikslid, Heimdall, and Boliden.
In the municipality of Norsjö, with its approximately 4,000 inhabitants, you will find our health centre. Most residents are registered with us. Our team consists of approximately 20 employees with diverse competencies who collaborate to provide the population with good and accessible care. Our rehabilitation team successfully handles assessments, treatment, and sick leave issues. We offer patients with mental health challenges contact with the psychosocial team. The building also houses the Child Health Centre (BVC) and the Midwife Clinic. Our close dialogue with the hospital, municipality, and other partners ensures that patient collaboration is smooth and highly functional, despite the long distances. The team in Norsjö has a flexible working approach where we strive to utilize everyone's abilities and competencies to the best of our ability. Job Description
As a nurse or district nurse with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better. With us, you get the opportunity for flexibility and good career prospects!
You will start with general nursing/district nursing tasks with the possibility to develop within a specialist area. You will meet and care for children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly through both scheduled and emergency visits. The job is varied, involving telephone advice, clinic work, and emergency flows.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. If you have further education as a district nurse or in another specialist area, it is an advantage. Previous experience working with asthma/COPD, diabetes, psychiatry, or the Child Health Centre is also meritorious.
As a person, you are flexible and have good teamwork skills. You have a good ability to work independently but also in a team. We expect you to prioritize good customer service and actively work on building good relationships. You are positive towards change work that develops the operations and contribute actively to a good work environment.
A valid driver's license (Category B) is required for this position.
