Do you want to work with payroll issues in a team where we share knowledge, develop together, and have fun along the way? We are now looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist who wants to strengthen our work in the HR department. Your Role

As a Payroll Specialist, you will be a key part of ensuring payroll operations for our approximately 840 employees. You will work closely with your colleagues in a team with high competence and great commitment.

You are part of the national HR department, which currently consists of 14 competent and engaged employees, including 5 HR Partners and a team leader, 5 HR Specialists, and the payroll function with two Payroll Specialists and an HR Manager. The role is located at our national headquarters in central Stockholm.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and ensuring payroll preparation, payroll payments, as well as handling and payment of expense reports for all employees within Hyresgästföreningen.
  • Administering fees and allowances to elected representatives.
  • Conducting pension reporting, reconciliations, statistics, declarations, and other contacts with authorities and reporting in our systems.
  • Supporting managers and the HR department with various data, reports, and analysis related to pay and allowance issues, pay setting, benefits, and payroll audits.
  • Handling, answering, and supporting payroll-related questions from other employees.
  • Ensuring that pension provisions are made according to law and agreements, and being responsible for information regarding pension agreements and pension models.
  • Serving as the HR department's operational specialist and system administrator for the payroll system Agda PS.

Your Background

Qualifications

  • A 3-year upper secondary school diploma and post-secondary education in HR, payroll administration, and/or the economic field.
  • Several years of experience with payroll administrative tasks in different organizations and operations.
  • Experience with the payroll system Agda PS.
  • Good knowledge of the Office package, Excel, and other relevant systems.
  • Experience and interest in developing working methods, technical solutions, and digitalization.
  • Knowledge of laws and agreements within labor law, collective agreements, and other matters related to pay.

Experience with handling so-called variable salaries is meritorious. It is also meritorious to have experience from participating in projects for the introduction of a new HR system with responsibility for ensuring integration and connection to the payroll system.

You are a Senior Payroll Specialist who wants to take overall responsibility for the quality, regulatory compliance, and process development of the payroll function.
