Job Description
We are currently seeking 1–2 Inspection Case Officers for a consultancy assignment with a municipal client. The role is located at the Building Permits Unit within the Community Planning sector, aiming to strengthen the organization during an ongoing recruitment process and to cover parental leave.
As a consultant, you are expected to step in and work independently, efficiently, and in a legally secure manner. You will become a vital part of an existing team and contribute to ensuring that the municipality's inspection work continues with high quality and in compliance with current legislation. The assignment starts on September 1, 2026, and runs until the end of March 2027, with a good opportunity for a three-month extension. The employment percentage can be adjusted flexibly between 75% and 100%.
Responsibilities
- Conduct efficient and legally secure inspection work in accordance with the Planning and Building Act (PBL).
- Handle ongoing inspection cases at the Building Permits Unit based on the municipality's current routines and processes.
- Collaborate closely with the organization's other inspection case officers to ensure uniform authority practice.
Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent relevant education in the field.
- At least three years of experience working as an inspection case officer.
- Very good knowledge and practical experience of the Planning and Building Act (PBL), including the legislative changes that came into force on January 1, 2026.
- A B-class driver's license is highly desirable to perform site visits as part of the role.
