Do you want to work in an international organization where your financial expertise makes a difference? We are currently looking for an Accounting Assistant for our client in Solna.

This is an opportunity for you who want to work operationally with financial administration in an organization that values transparency, quality, and long-term sustainability. The role involves broad responsibilities where you will collaborate with colleagues in Sweden and internationally within the organization's Shared Service function.

The role is newly established, giving you the opportunity to influence working methods, routines, and responsibilities together with the Finance Manager and colleagues. You are offered an stimulating work environment where development and process improvement are encouraged.

About the role

As an Accounting Assistant, you will have a broad role in daily financial management and in ensuring correct and efficient processes. You report to the Finance Manager in Sweden and work closely with colleagues in the finance team as well as external suppliers and customers.

Examples of tasks:

  • Bookkeeping of supplier invoices, customer accounts receivable, and vouchers.
  • Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
  • Handling VAT and tax reporting as well as supporting documents for declarations.
  • Support in monthly closing and preparation of internal reporting.
  • Contact with suppliers, banks, and internal stakeholders to ensure flows and payments.
  • Participation in improvement work and implementation of new routines and system support.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have

  • Relevant post-secondary education in finance or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with ongoing bookkeeping and working in several different financial systems.
  • Good computer skills and experience with cloud-based financial systems as well as Microsoft 365.
  • Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and verbal.
