We are now looking for an Accounting Manager who wants to take overall responsibility for the accounting in several companies. The role suits you who enjoy working operationally while also acting as a qualified support within the business on accounting technical matters. About the role

As Accounting Manager, you are responsible for the accounting from ongoing bookkeeping to monthly and annual financial statements, annual reports, and tax declarations. You work closely with the finance department and have close collaboration with colleagues in an international environment where you contribute with your accounting technical competence and ensure high quality in the financial work.

The role also involves acting as a support in complex accounting issues and contributing with structure, guidance, and quality assurance within the finance function. You will also be involved in development and change work related to the company's continued growth.

Main responsibilities

• Responsible for accounting in several companies
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Responsible for annual reports according to K3
• Prepare tax and VAT declarations
• Handle and analyze accounting technical questions
• Participate in work related to group reporting and IFRS-related issues
• Act as a qualified support and contribute with structure and quality within the finance function
• Participate in improvement and development projects within the accounting area
• Collaborate with internal and external contacts in an international environment

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in economics/finance
• Substantial experience in qualified accounting work
• Good knowledge of K3 as well as experience with or a good understanding of IFRS
• Good knowledge of the entire accounting process, including monthly and annual financial statements, annual reports, as well as tax and VAT issues
• Good communication skills and the ability to communicate complex accounting issues in a clear and pedagogical manner
• Good skills in Excel as well as experience with business systems
• Fluent Swedish and good English skills, both verbal and written

It is meritorious if you also have:

• Experience from a larger group environment
• Experience from Big 4 or another large audit or consulting firm, preferably in a consulting role with work in various client assignments
• Experience from trade, retail, or warehouse-intensive operations

You are confident in your accounting competence and have worked in a qualified accounting role where you have taken significant responsibility for the accounting process. You work in a structured and analytical manner with a strong focus on quality and have good communication skills. You can convey complex accounting issues in a clear and pedagogical way and enjoy supporting colleagues in their work. As a person, you are unpretentious, solution-oriented, and motivated by contributing to a well-functioning and developing finance function.
