Are you a registrar and want to contribute to the goal of combating economic crime? At the National Economic Crime Bureau (Ekobrottsmyndigheten), you will work in a dynamic environment together with qualified and engaged colleagues. We are now looking for a registrar for our legal unit.
Workplace
The Legal Unit is responsible for ensuring quality, equality, and legal certainty in the agency's legal operations. The unit includes practicing lawyers and an archivist and registrar function.
The unit actively works on issues within the legislative process, monitors legal developments, and provides the agency with qualified legal support. The unit is responsible for responding to references and submitting opinions, as well as handling matters concerning confidentiality and data protection. The unit also produces and reviews steering documents and participates in training and other competence-building initiatives within the agency. The unit collaborates closely with other agencies with adjacent assignments. The Legal Unit currently consists of approximately 14 people.
Job Description
As a registrar, you will primarily work with registering documents, handling incoming mail and emails to the headquarters' registry, and answering phone inquiries from the public. You will also actively participate in development issues related to the administrative diary, both regarding case handling procedures and the system's design. The role involves collaborating with the agency's archive function. In addition, you will assist the Legal Unit with certain administrative matters, such as dispatching cases and publishing on the intranet.
Requirements
- Education in a relevant field, e.g., within archives or information science or registry operations
- Experience from diary management and administrative work in a government agency
- Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
- Good knowledge of laws and regulations governing public operations and the registrar's function and responsibilities
- Knowledge of public access and confidentiality
- Very good computer skills in MS Office and knowledge of document and case management systems
Merits
