We are now looking for a Senior Accounting Specialist to join a well-respected specialist team in central Stockholm.
About the role
In this role, you work closely with CFOs, finance managers, and finance functions in complex and developing assignments. You act as a specialist support in qualified accounting issues and help clients navigate everything from ongoing consolidation to major change projects and strategic initiatives.
You will have the opportunity to work with some of the most advanced issues within accounting and financial reporting, while becoming a key advisor in connection with, for example, acquisitions, divestments, capital raising, IFRS conversions, and implementation of new regulations.
The role involves close collaboration with experienced specialists where knowledge sharing, development, and quality are at the center.
Example of tasks
- Responsible for and quality assurance of group accounting according to IFRS and K3
- Prepare and review group accounts, interim reports, and annual reports
- Provide advice on complex accounting issues and regulations
- Support clients in acquisitions, divestments, and restructuring
- Participate in IFRS conversions and implementation projects
- Act as specialist support for CFOs, finance managers, and finance departments
- Conduct internal and external training within accounting and reporting
- Contribute to the development of methodology, processes, and ways of working
Who are you?
We are looking for you who have an academic degree in economics as well as several years of experience from audit, accounting specialist role, or qualified group accounting.
You have a genuine interest in complex accounting issues and thrive in the role as an advisor. You are analytical, business-minded, and enjoy turning regulations into practical solutions that create value for the business.
We believe you have:
- Several years of experience in group accounting and financial reporting
- Good knowledge of IFRS and K3
- Experience with complex accounting issues
- Experience from audit, consulting, or larger group environments
- Good communication skills in Swedish and English
