Are you a meticulous and solution-oriented accountant who enjoys creating order and structure?

We are currently looking for you to take on a consultancy assignment where you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of the balance sheet by cleaning and analyzing balance sheet items.

About the Role

As an accountant, you will join a company in need of strengthening its accounting and closing processes. Your primary focus will be on reviewing, analyzing, and cleaning balance sheet items to ensure accurate and up-to-date reporting.

You will be part of an accounting team, contributing structure, quality, and progress to the work.

Responsibilities

Among other things, you will:

• Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Clean, correct, and quality-assure balance sheet items
• Identify discrepancies and propose corrective actions
• Document methods and adjustments made
• Support ongoing accounting and closing processes as needed
• Ensure that reporting is up-to-date and complies with current regulations

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with:

• Experience in advanced accounting and closing processes
• Proficiency in balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis
• Experience in cleaning or quality-assuring balance sheet items
• Strong system proficiency and Excel skills
• Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and structures
