Since our founding in 2010, we have expanded our service portfolio and built a team of dedicated and knowledgeable consultants working with organizations across the country. Our strength lies in the combination of deep professional knowledge, humility, and a results-oriented focus – and our goal is to contribute to secure, structured, and sustainable information governance in both the public and private sectors.

We are now looking for you who want to combine information security and data protection in practice

At ArkivIT, you will have the opportunity to work in an experienced and knowledge-driven team where your skills are valued and developed. We are looking for you who want to combine information security and data protection in practice – and help our customers build long-term sustainable and efficient ways of working for governance, regulatory compliance, and secure information management.

You will have the freedom to shape your daily work, while contributing to societal benefit in some of Sweden's most important operations.

About the role
As an information security and data protection consultant, you work closely with our customers' operations and are often a key figure in their development work. The role is both strategic and operational, involving assignments where you switch between advisory, analysis, and implementation.

You work independently but always have support from competent colleagues, and you are part of our Data Protection & Information Security team where we collaborate and share experiences.

Examples of tasks:

  • Implement or further develop management systems for information security (LIS)
  • Support data protection work related to GDPR, such as structure, governance, and compliance
  • Conduct risk and gap analyses within information security and data protection
  • Act as an advisor or in roles such as Information Security Officer, Data Protection Coordinator, or DPO
  • Handle personal data incidents and support in impact assessments (DPIA)
  • Design governing documents, action plans, and procedures
  • Conduct training and workshops within organizations
  • Support organizations in compliance with ISO 27000, GDPR, NIS2, and other relevant regulations

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience working in information security and/or data protection
  • Experience from the public sector (the entire 3-year period does not need to be in the public sector)
  • Experience in practical work with governance, compliance, or development in one or both areas
  • Good knowledge of relevant regulations such as GDPR and standards within information security (e.g., ISO 27000 series)
  • Ability to work independently and build trust in various types of organizations
  • Fluent Swedish in speech and writing, as well as good English
  • Relevant higher education or university degree

Merits:

  • Experience working in roles such as CISO, Data Protection Officer, or Data Protection Coordinator
  • Certifications in information security or data protection (e.g., ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, CISM, CISA, or similar)
  • Experience in adjacent areas such as IT security, cyber security, or information management
  • Knowledge of additional frameworks and regulations, such as NIS2 or DORA
  • Previous experience as a consultant
  • Project management experience and habit of leading assignments

Personal qualities

We are looking for someone who is confident in their competence and thrives in an advisory role where you can make a real difference. You are analytical, solution-oriented, and have a structured approach to work.

You take responsibility for your work, drive your assignments forward, and deliver with quality. At the same time, you are humble in your interactions, communicative, and pedagogical – and appreciate collaborating and contributing to the team's development.

Our offer
At ArkivIT, you get a flexible and developmental work environment where you can influence your daily life. We offer:

  • Continuous competence development
  • An open and learning climate
  • Experienced and engaged colleagues
  • Social activities and joint events

Your manager, Gustav, works with a coaching leadership style and believes in freedom under responsibility, where you receive both support and room to develop.

We value our employees and create conditions for reflection, feedback, and long-term development.

Application
Do not wait with your application – we interview continuously, and the position may be filled as soon as we find the right candidate.

If you have any questions, you are warmly welcome to contact Gustav Rönne at [email protected].

During the summer, response times may be slightly delayed due to holidays – thank you for your understanding!
