Region Skåne is undergoing extensive development and change work where clear, coordinated, and trust-building communication is crucial. We are now looking for a strategic communicator who wants to work close to leadership and operations on issues that are important for both the organization and society at large.
The Corporate Communications Department's task is to contribute to strengthening Region Skåne's brand and realizing operational goals, political decisions, and visions through professional communication efforts. One of our assignments is to drive and develop the communication work within the Corporate Office, and this role focuses on assignments from the corporate departments.
Here, you will have the opportunity to work on issues that affect people's daily lives and societal development. You will become part of the Regional Coordination and Service Area and belong to the team supporting the Corporate Office's departments. We offer a qualified and developmental assignment with great breadth, many contact surfaces, and the opportunity to contribute to important change processes. Here, you work in close collaboration with colleagues within communication and operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you combine strategic thinking with operational execution, working both long-term and close to operations. You provide qualified support to leadership and departments in communication matters by formulating, prioritizing, and anchoring messages related to goals, decisions, and development initiatives. You plan and implement communication efforts in connection with change and development work, contributing to clear direction and helping the organization communicate in a unified, credible, and target-group-adapted manner.
The assignment includes strategic advisory services, communication planning, and some production of communication support and content. You are expected to be able to switch between analysis, advisory, and execution, and feel confident in complex questions and contexts where many perspectives need to be weighed together. There is also operational work, such as creating, processing, and quality-assuring messages, speech points, internal communication, as well as presentations and decision documents.
An important part of the assignment is to pick up signals, needs, and risks in the organization and translate insights into communication recommendations, as well as contributing to strengthening the leadership's own communication skills. As a strategic communicator, you contribute to cohesive, clear, and effective leadership communication and work in close collaboration with communication colleagues and operations to create impact, alignment, and effect.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have several years of experience in qualified communication work in a complex organization, as well as experience working close to leadership or management level. You have a relevant higher education/university degree in communication, media, political science, or other education that the employer deems relevant. We see that you are accustomed to working with change communication and strategic advisory, and are confident in handling issues that require judgment, integrity, and a holistic perspective. Furthermore, we see that you have experience in creating presentation materials. It is required that you express yourself very well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
To succeed in the role, we see that you are analytical and strategic with a good understanding of organizational contexts. Furthermore, you have good communication skills and can build trust at different levels in the organization. You are used to driving work independently while thriving in close collaboration with others. It is important that you have a very good ability to formulate messages and adapt communication to different target groups and situations. Additionally, you are unpretentious, receptive, and confident in advisory roles. You have the ability to create structure and progress even in complex processes and thrive in an environment where the pace is occasionally high and conditions can change quickly. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
We plan to hold interviews during week 31 on July 28th and 29th.
