Responsibilities within Controlling, Data & Business Development

In the role of Business Controller, you work broadly with financial control, data analysis, and business development. You play a central role in developing processes, ensuring data quality, and contributing to efficient ways of working. Your main responsibilities include:

Business Development and Process Improvement

• Develop, maintain, and quality-assure business-critical models, processes, and system support
• Identify efficiency opportunities and drive improvement initiatives
• Ensure high quality in data flows, reporting, and decision-making support
• Contribute to the digitalization and automation of processes

Financial Control and Business Support

• Responsible for forecasting and budgeting in collaboration with the Financial Controller
• Conduct analyses, calculations, and reporting
• Handle internal and external invoicing
• Ensure correct project accounting and fixed assets
• Participate in the development of financial processes and structures

Data, Analysis, and Reporting

• Develop models for data collection, analysis, and follow-up
• Work with solutions related to sensor data and business monitoring
• Ensure availability and quality in reporting materials

Information Management and Regulatory Compliance

• Act as Data Protection Coordinator and work with GDPR issues
• Ensure that processes comply with regulations and internal guidelines
• Act as support in data protection-related matters

Collaboration and Project Work

• Work closely with management and operations
• Participate in and coordinate forums and development initiatives
• Drive cross-functional projects and change management

Your Profile - Business Controller with Data Competence

To succeed in the role, we see that you have a strong combination of analytical ability, business understanding, and technical interest.

Qualifications:

• At least 6 years of experience as a Business Controller or similar role
• Bachelor's degree in Economics
• Experience in financial control, analysis, and reporting
• Good system and data knowledge

Meritorious:

• Experience with AI or data-driven working methods
• Experience from a similar industry or business-close roles

The Assignment at E.ON in Malmö

This is a consultancy assignment via Jefferson Wells with placement at E.ON Fastigheter Sverige AB in Malmö. The assignment runs from August 2026 to January 31, 2027, and is full-time.
