Are you an economist ready to take the next step? At Klippans Bruk, you will have a broad economic role at Scandinavia's oldest paper mill, with a clear opportunity to grow into the role of Finance Manager. You will start close to the daily economics and gradually take on more responsibility as you grow.

As an economist at Klippans Bruk, you will step into a broad and business-close role at a small mill where the finance function is close to both management and operations. You will work together with an experienced colleague who currently handles the finance, and you will share the responsibility for the company's ongoing work – from daily bookkeeping and closing to reporting results to the board. Since the office is small, you will quickly get a holistic view of the business and have great opportunities to influence.

The idea is that you start with daily economic tasks and gradually take over more responsibility as you grow into the role. In the long term, the goal is for you to move up as Finance Manager, responsible for leading the finance function, securing closing and reconciliations, driving budget and forecast work, and providing management with analyses that support business decisions.

You will work with Office packages, Excel, and the business system Pyramid.

Summary of tasks:

• Prepare monthly and annual accounts and present the closing at board meetings
• Approve payments and transfers in the bank
• Assist with ongoing bookkeeping
• Act as backup for payroll processing (payroll is currently handled externally)
• Gradually take on more responsibility with a view to a role as Finance Manager

We are looking for you who are analytical and unpretentious, with a drive to dive into new things. You are sharp and street-smart – you can stand your ground and present your analysis even in the boardroom. You thrive in a broad role where you get to take responsibility and grow over time.

We are looking for you who have:

• Post-secondary education in economics – or alternatively upper secondary economic education combined with experience from economic work
• Good computer skills, preferably with experience of Excel and business systems

Meritorious:

• Longer experience in an economic role
• Experience with the business system Pyramid

Klippans Bruk is Scandinavia's oldest paper mill with roots back to 1573 and paper production on the same site since the 1600s. Today, it is a modern specialist mill that is entirely dedicated to tissue – deep-colored soft paper sold to customers around the world and turned into napkins and similar products.
