RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of HSE & Quality Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the company's work regarding sustainability, health, safety, quality, and food safety across the company's two production facilities.

Initially, you will work closely with the CEO and Vice CEO to gradually take over full responsibility for the area and drive the company's continued development within HSE and quality.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Driving, developing, and monitoring the company's work in sustainability, health, safety, and quality.
  • Ensuring compliance with laws, regulatory requirements, and internal guidelines within HSE and food safety.
  • Responsible for and further developing the company's HACCP system.
  • Driving and leading the work with certification according to BRC and/or IFS.
  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring management systems, processes, and routines within quality and food safety.
  • Planning and conducting internal audits as well as coordinating external audits.
  • Identifying areas for improvement and driving long-term improvement work within the organization.
  • Training, supporting, and coaching the operations regarding quality, occupational health and safety, and food safety.
  • Acting as a specialist and advisor to the organization on HSE, quality, and food safety matters.
  • Working closely with management and contributing to the company's continued expansion and development.

 

PERSONAL QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

As a person, you are independent, unpretentious, and confident in your competence. You have the ability to create engagement and build trusting relationships at all levels of the organization. At the same time, you are analytical, structured, and accustomed to driving issues all the way from idea to implementation.

We see that you have:

  • Several years of experience in quality, HSE, or food safety work within manufacturing industry.
  • Very good knowledge of HACCP and food safety.
  • Experience working with or implementing certification standards such as BRC and/or IFS.
  • Experience with audits, deviation management, and systematic improvement work.
  • Good understanding of laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements within the food industry.
  • Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Valid driver's license (Class B).

Previous experience in building up or further developing management systems in a growing organization is highly meritorious.
