For the city's operations to function effectively, premises must be correctly designed, used efficiently, and developed in line with needs. We are now looking for a Premises Strategist who wants to contribute to long-term sustainable and well-thought-out premises solutions for Trollhättan Municipality.

About the Role

The position is located within the Municipal Executive Board Administration in the Strategic Premises Function. This function reports to the Acting Deputy City Manager and is led by a Team Leader for Strategic Premises Development.

The Strategic Premises Function is the city's consolidated support for premises supply issues. The mission is to ensure that Trollhättan Municipality's operations have purposeful, cost-effective, and long-term sustainable premises. The function has overall responsibility for developing, coordinating, and supporting the work on premises supply across the entire city and works closely with the administrations on their premises issues. You will become part of a team with a clear strategic mandate and a central role in the city's development.

Responsibilities

In this role, you work closely with the operations to create long-term sustainable and well-founded premises solutions. You identify, structure, and clarify the operations' needs and serve as a qualified support to the administrations in matters concerning analysis, prioritization, and strategic choices. With a holistic perspective, you translate identified needs into strategic foundations that create conditions for well-founded decisions and prioritizations. You are responsible for preparing and coordinating cases throughout the entire decision-making process and collaborate closely with both operations and property owners to ensure successful implementation. Through your commitment, analytical skills, and coordinating role, you contribute to developing future premises solutions that meet the needs of operations and support the municipality's long-term development.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have an academic education in real estate, administration, or construction activities, or other education that, combined with experience, is assessed as equivalent. You have experience in strategic work with premises or property issues, as well as in driving processes and working in complex organizations.

It is meritorious if you have experience from municipal operations or politically governed organizations and experience with premises supply processes.

You have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as you will write investigations, reports, and foundations for political decisions.
