We are currently looking for a Corporate Counsel who wants to support our operations with legal matters, develop working methods, and contribute to creating business value in an organization that is constantly evolving.

You will become part of our wonderful legal team, consisting of a Head of Legal, a Senior Corporate Counsel, and a student, who work closely together and collaborate closely with management and operations.

Your daily life as Corporate Counsel

As Corporate Counsel, you work closely with the business and serve as a legal advisor on both operational and strategic issues. You will have a varied role, working with a wide range of legal matters.

In this role, you will:

• Draft, review, and negotiate various types of contracts
• Provide ongoing legal advice to the business
• Support the organization with corporate law matters
• Ensure compliance with external regulations and guidelines, such as GDPR and anti-corruption policies
• Contribute to the development and monitoring of the company's compliance efforts
• Identify, prevent, and manage legal risks
• Identify needs for and conduct training initiatives in law and compliance
• Provide legal support in connection with acquisitions, due diligence processes, and corporate integrations
• Further develop legal templates, processes, and working methods to create efficiency and structure within the organization

Who are you?

You are independent and take responsibility for driving your issues forward, while being unpretentious and collaborating naturally with others. You have strong communication skills and can make legal issues understandable and useful for the business.

Furthermore, you are structured, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple parallel tasks.

Qualifications

• Swedish Law Degree
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience from a company and/or law firm
• Experience working with commercial contracts and contract negotiations
• Experience in independent legal work and legal advisory
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and English

Preferred Qualifications

• Good knowledge and experience with corporate law matters
• Experience working with GDPR
• Experience with environmental law matters
• Experience with compliance-related issues
• Experience with M&A

• Scope: Full-time, with an initial probationary period.
