Mathematics Teacher with Focus on Natural Sciences/Biology at Zetterbergsgymnasiet

Do you enjoy building relationships with a student-centered approach? We are looking for a mathematics teacher, as well as a teacher for another subject at the upper secondary level, preferably in Natural Science or Biology, who wants to be part of our dedicated team. Together, we work to develop our operations and support our students' learning.

Zetterbergsgymnasiet is located in a beautiful, historic building near bus and train connections in central Eskilstuna, at Tullgatan 2. The school accommodates up to 600 students from various primary schools and municipalities, making us an exciting meeting place. Responsibilities

You will teach mathematics, and we would prefer your second subject to be Natural Science or Biology. Your main responsibilities include:

• Planning, teaching, and assessing students' knowledge for grading purposes.
• Having mentorship responsibilities for students and following their development, both socially and academically, towards the school's goals.
• Contributing to systematic quality work.
• Collaborating closely with the school's student health services to create a safe environment.
• Teaching on the school's national programs and introduction programs, as well as working with support measures within the framework of special support when needed.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you have:

• A teaching degree and certification with eligibility to teach mathematics.
• Eligibility or a strong preference for a second subject in Natural Science or Biology.
• Alternatively, you are currently completing your teacher education and will graduate shortly.
• Experience in teaching and practical work based on the current curriculum (through work or vocational studies).
• Familiarity with using digital tools in teaching.
• Experience teaching at the upper secondary level, lower secondary level, adult education, or equivalent.

It is an advantage if you have knowledge of special pedagogical strategies and inclusive working methods.
