Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a Social Secretary (Social Worker) for our workplace. Our target group is young adults, and we are responsible for all authority exercises for individuals aged 18-24. This includes investigations according to the Social Services Act (SoL), the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU), and the Care of Abusers Act (LVM), as well as follow-up of interventions, handling of financial assistance, and a strong focus on supporting individuals toward self-sufficiency. As a working method, we use a solution-focused approach and Signs of Safety. We actively work with parallel interventions, close collaboration, and a strong belief in individuals' own ability to create change. We believe in transparency and see ourselves as authority figures who serve as a tool for people on their way to a self-sufficient and better life.

A Social Secretary drives processes independently to support individuals toward a better life and financial self-sufficiency, with ample support from experienced colleagues, case handlers, and unit managers.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a degree in Social Work (Social Work/Sociology) and experience with authority exercises within social services. You should have a good ability to gather, analyze, assess, and communicate information, as well as an ease in collaborating with both citizens, colleagues, and partners.

Some form of solution-focused training is desirable, along with good knowledge of how our societal partners work. You need to be open to working in an environment where you may constantly need to reprioritize work based on changing conditions. In addition to competence and experience, special consideration will be given to complement the team based on personal qualities.

A Category B driver's license for manual transmission vehicles is required.

Experience is required.
