Vocational Teacher in Agriculture

Bollerup Agricultural Institute and Naturbruksgymnasium is run by a foundation and is one of Sweden's largest school farms and a successful vocational high school for nature and agriculture.

Bollerup Naturbruksgymnasium is an independent upper secondary school offering programs in nature and agriculture with a focus on horses or farming. Here, you will work in a unique environment where education takes place in a fully operational farm – for real. Our operations include a modern and varied farm producing milk, beef, pork, and crops, as well as breeding cattle, pigs, and horses. Bollerup is beautifully located on Österlen.

Bollerup Agricultural Institute and Naturbruksgymnasium is looking for two committed and relationship-building Vocational Teachers in Agriculture, on a full-time or part-time basis. We are looking for two colleagues: one with a focus on crop production and one with a focus on farm animals.

The teaching covers both theoretical and practical aspects of nature and agriculture.

You will work together with a dedicated team of vocational teachers and instructors who jointly are responsible for the education within the school's agricultural profile.

Areas of Teaching

Crop production and farm animals (theory and practice), machinery and technology, tractor driving, harvesting work, and practical work with students on the farm.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have competence in agriculture and an interest in working with youth learning.

You can either have:

• a teacher education in nature/agriculture or a related field
• or professional experience from agriculture or adjacent activities
• experience in education, mentoring, or leadership

About the team

You will become part of a team consisting of teachers and instructors who jointly are responsible for the teaching within the agricultural profile. The work takes place in close collaboration between theory and practice, where the school's teaching and the practical environments of the operations complement each other.
